Hi Jazzers,
We had a great start to our fall season program on Sept. 28/25 with close to 60 members and guests attending. However, attendance at our last two events has dropped off significantly. In these times of ever increasing expenses, we really need to increase the attendance at our events to a level where we can cover expenses at least to a break-even level. Your help in achieving this and introducing new members and guests to our club is much appreciated. Also, any monetary donations to our club will also be welcome.
We are pleased to announce that the Arntzen Family “Palooza” hot ticket event returns on Dec. 7/25. Arnt Arntzen will lead the band which will include Lloyd Arntzen, Georgina Arntzen, Holly Arntzen and their guests, Casey Thomas-Burns, Scott Robertson and Casey Tolhurst. Tickets will go on sale in early November, WRTJS members $20.00 and non-members $25.00.
Prior to our last event of the fall season on Dec. 14/25, at 12:.00pm we have scheduled the WRTJS Annual General Meeting. Dorin Sherriff, our Secretary, will be sending out details and an agenda in November. It is important for all of our members to attend this meeting as we will have a number of issues to resolve. We thank you in advance for your support.
