Well it’s spring again, time for nature’s call for renewal. Speaking of which, if you haven’t renewed your membership for 2025, now would be a good time to do so.
Also, attendance to our events has been dropping of late, way below our average. Although we recognize there are other distractions at this time of year, it is really important to support your club so that we can bring you great jazz music each week at a very reasonable price.
We extend our thanks to all members and guests who have made donations to the WRTJS this year. Our donation box is always strategically located near the Legion entry desk. (Please no foreign coins, metal washers or wooden nickels, however; there is no tariff on US dollars.)
Laura Moses, through her contacts with the Pentastic Jazz Festival, has acquired two All Event passes (value $170 each) for which we will have a silent auction starting April 13/25. All proceeds going to the club. Thanks Laura.
On April 13/25 we welcome the “Ragtime Ramblers” for the first time to our club and we look forward to some great Trad. Jazz. Also, at this event we will feature an eggciting Easter dress up contest with prizes for the best Easter Bonnet, best Easter Costume and best Easter Parasol. (This is no yoke!) So dig out those old chapeaus, adjust your “hatitude” and come and have a good time! We look forward to a big participation. Remember “hare” today, gone tomorrow!

Bellingham Trad. Jazz Club features the Market Street Jazz Band on May 3 at the VFW Hall in Bellingham.
